Finally HANADURI website has been updated.
Thanks to everyone who has been waiting for us!
Can’t believe it’s already in the middle of September. Although Covid-19 has been a disaster around the world as to shaken our lives, it’s still inevitable that we avoid face-to-face contact. In this situation, we were fortunate enough to be asked for design projects over the past few years apart from our own business, which was a help for us to pay the bill. We had to be more conscious of keeping distance while having meetings with people, but it occurred to us that we should feel more grateful everyday.
In June, we moved our office after the contract expired with the landlord at Yoenhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu in Seoul. It was the place where HANADURI began and expand our business to the world. It’s not easy to say goodbye, but we will always remember our first.
Our new relocated studio is on Gyedong-gil, a neighborhood of Bukchon Hanok Village. Gyedong has lots of traditional courtyard houses keeping a traditional Korean village feel and is very close to the two main places: Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung. Also, there are many cultural facilities like museums, public libraries, art & craft shops, etc. I can’t believe that we found out this area accidently while looking for a new space. This place we found was perfect for us as we love Korean tradition and culture so much!
We are slowly settling down to our new studio. If you are planning on a trip in Seoul, please stop by HANADURI on Gyedong-gil.
